Bep Ebbenn geboren te Schijndel in 1960. Afgestudeerd aan de Academie voor Toegepaste Kunst te Maastricht in 1987 (Keramische vormgeving).
Mijn huidige werk kenmerkt zich door een nieuwe vorm van symboliek en het toepassen van diverse materialen, designs en kleuren in de moderne tijd. Mijn vrijheid van denken, het beleven, voelen en ervaren van mijn onderbewuste maken dat ik deze vervolgens omzet in beeldende kunst als communicatievorm. Dat symbolen in vrijwel alle menselijke culturen voorkomen heeft de Zwitserse psychotherapeut Carl Jung tot de overtuiging gebracht dat diep in de menselijke psyche symbolen of archetypen verankerd liggen waar wij instinctmatig, verlangend naar psychische integratie op reageren. Ik heb gekozen voor werk in de zorgsector gecombineerd met mijn beeldende kunstachtergrond.
Bep Ebbenn was born on August 7th, 1960 in Schijndel, Noord Brabant. She obtained her degree at the Art College of Maastricht (Academie voor Toegepaste Kunst, afdeling Keramische Vormgeving) in 1987.
My current work is characterized by a new symbolic form and the application of various materials, designs and colours of the modern age. My freedom of thought and expression as well as my awareness of the subconsciousness have led to the transformation of these elements into art as form of communication. The fact that symbols appear in almost every human culture has convicted the Swiss psychotherapist Carl Jung that archetypical constructions are rooted deep down in the human mind. People react to those constructions, instinctively, in their longing for psychic integration. I decided to combine my work in the mental health care with my profession as an artist
